It doesn’t matter if you’re a brand new Springfield startup or an established business- you need a marketing strategy. As part of my marketing consulting services, I offer a one day Marketing Strategy to help get all your ducks in a row. We’ll meet up at your place for a full day of defining objectives, brainstorming, and creating an actionable plan so you know exactly how to implement your digital marketing going forward.

Chances are, you probably don’t know all of the digital marketing activities available for your business. Or you could know what you want, but not know the first steps to take or how to maintain it. By developing an end-to-end strategy, we’ll take all your questions and create a path to making the magic happen.

 

Who is this Marketing Strategy Workshop for?

It’s great for both startups and businesses that have been around awhile. Startups love hitting the ground running, knowing where to put their marketing budget and who they need to hire. Established businesses have usually grown too quickly and let marketing fall by the wayside. Maybe their office assistant is posting on Facebook and they’ve collected customer emails, but don’t know what do do next. We’ll take a look at your resources and find a way to turn them into a cohesive plan that will drive engagement and get those customers knocking down your door.

 

The Marketing Strategy Workbook

I’ve created a workbook that will get you digging deep and planning wide. We’ll focus on the sections that make sense for your business model. If you’re a restaurant, you probably don’t need a CRM, but a loyalty program or email newsletter could be just what you need to drive business. On the other hand, a cabinet company could focus on Google PPC Ads and website retargeting. Your plan is completely customized for your industry, business, and resources.

 

Who executes the strategy?

We can create the strategy specifically for your needs- whether you’re marketing to local customers or a diverse group of online buyers. You can use current office personnel, use the strategy to inform hiring, approach a different agency to fulfill specific needs, or work with me to help you get things done. 

 

What kind of budget do I need to be successful?

We can also work with any budget.

Even no budget? Sure. I understand that lots of companies bootstrap and I can offer completely free ways to accomplish different objectives. 

What if we have a large budget with specific KPIs? That’s great too. I can recommend ways to make the most of your money and integrate your paid advertising with other online or offline activities. We can also explore out-of-the-box ideas to help your brand stand out and connect.

I will truly be a non-interested third party that helps you decide what steps to take based on your capabilities. I will not try to sell you my services beyond letting you know what I (and other local agencies) offer.

 

Who should attend the marketing consulting workshop?

I’d recommend working with six people or less. If you’re a small company, invite anyone whose perspective you want. Sales people have great insight into what your customers really want. Front office staff probably have good ideas about how to improve marketing processes. Ultimately it’s up to you.

Website

We can start from scratch or evaluate your current website. We'll outline the content, design, and functionality needs so you can move forward knowing exactly what to create or change- whether you're working with a developer or designing your own with Squarespace.

SEO

If you're looking to get to the top of the Google Search Result Page, you'll want to invest time into SEO. I can take a look at your website and give tips for on-page optimization and develop a plan for link-building.

Website Reporting

If youre website brings in a decent amount of traffic, you'll want to pay close attention to how it's performing. I can help you set up Google Analytics and Search Console so you know how people arrive and what they do once they're there, as well as demographics.

Social Media

We'll identify the important channels for you to focus your efforts on. After identifying our objectives, we'll create a content plan, content calendar, and we can even plan out a month of posts if you like.

Newsletters

We will create a strategy for building an email list that could include lead magnets, free downloads, and more. From there, we will develop an email content plan and schedule so you can get right to nurturing your potential clients.

Local Search

Google My Business Profiles are taking up a lot of the space in search results now. Landing at the top takes work. I can help you set up your profile, optimize it, and schedule updates to stay relevant to Google's algorithms.

Social Media Campaigns

Some campaigns are best suited for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or even Reddit. We can talk about Ad content and targeting so you can get the results you need, even if you choose to do it yourself.

PPC & Display Ad Campaigns

To reach customers who are looking for you in the moment, or maybe browsing sites similar to yours, you'll want a Google Ad Campaign. Defining keywords, audiences, and crafting compelling content will get you off on the right foot.

Campaign Landing Pages

Landing pages are an important part of running an ad campaign. I'll tell you how to optimize them for conversions and ways to A/B Test for efficacy. We can also discuss reporting and optimization.

Software

There are so many online solutions for managing your business marketing. CRMs, GSuite, and other industry-specific SaaS can reduce your time spent on marketing while bringing in more leads. I can help identify your software needs and make a plan for implementation.
